About Beam
Give us the ingredients. We’ll make something lovely.
Beam is a new format for digital greetings. Instead of recreating a folded card on a screen or handing you an empty design canvas, Beam will bring a few meaningful ingredients together as a short, carefully paced experience.
Why we are building it
Photos sit in camera rolls. Voice notes disappear into message threads. The words we mean to write often become “Happy birthday! Hope you have a great day.” We think those ingredients can become something warmer without making the sender learn to design.
What a beam will be
A beam will usually contain five to eight moments: perhaps an opening, a favourite photograph, a written message, a short video, a voice note and a final reveal. It will be finite, mobile-first and easy to share through one link.
Thoughtful technology
Any assistance should help you express what you already mean, not pretend to know the person receiving it. Personal memories should remain personal. AI may help with optional tasks such as shaping rough words or reframing an image, but it should never become the subject of the greeting.
Where things stand
